For best results, wear your aligners 20 to 22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, and brush. Consistent wear is what keeps your treatment on schedule.
You may feel mild pressure or tenderness for a day or two when you switch to a new set of aligners, which is a sign they are working. It is generally much more comfortable than traditional braces.
Some people notice a slight lisp for the first few days as they adjust to the aligners. It almost always goes away quickly as your tongue gets used to them.
