In-Office Whitening
90 minutes in our office. Pro-grade peroxide gel activated by specialized light. Walk out with results that would take weeks at home.
Real results that last — without the sensitivity, gum irritation, or disappointing outcomes of over-the-counter strips. In-office whitening in 90 minutes, or custom take-home trays for gradual results.
Every appointment in our Century City office is led by Dr. Esfahani — no handoffs, no rushed visits, no surprise treatment recommendations.
Drugstore whitening strips contain very low concentrations of peroxide (around 6%) and are designed to be safe for unsupervised use — which means they're also not very effective. Most patients see modest results, often with significant sensitivity.
Professional whitening uses pharmacy-grade peroxide (15–35%) under controlled conditions with desensitizing agents and protective gum barriers. The result is dramatically faster, dramatically more effective whitening — often 6–8 shades — with less sensitivity overall.

Perfect-fit trays + professional gel. Wear 30–60 min/day for 2–3 weeks for gradual results.
In-office for fast initial results + take-home trays for further whitening and lifelong maintenance.
Great results: surface staining from coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco. Mild to moderate age-related yellowing. Generally healthy teeth and gums.
Modest results: gray-tinted teeth, tetracycline staining (veneers may be a better answer). Not a fit: active cavities, significant gum recession, existing crowns/veneers/bonding (these don't whiten), or pregnant/nursing patients.
Whitening works best on clean teeth. We pair whitening with a hygiene visit.
Custom barrier applied to protect gums from the peroxide.
Pro-grade peroxide applied in three 15-minute cycles, activated by light.
Custom trays + maintenance gel to extend the results.
